I am a senior citizen with 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. I was born in Hollywood, but have lived in the San Fernando Valley in California all of my life. I learned to sew about the age of 10 and love to create beautiful things. I began doing genealogy 15 years ago and have found my ancestors back to 1516. My favorite things to do are reading, puzzles of all kinds, knitting and crocheting. When I was younger I traveled all over the world, but no more. I joined Etsy in order to get a little extra money and share my creations with others. It keeps me busy.
I have been a widow for 42 years. The love of my life passed away from a heart attack at the age of 46. His unexpected death nearly killed me as well. I still think about him every day and believe that if he had taken better care of himself he would have lived longer. But what is, is and I cannot change that.
After a number of years I began to date, but no one was right for me
and I remained single. I was fortunate to have him for the 25 years we were married and raised our children. I am content with my children, my grandchildren, 3 greatgranddaughters and now a new greatgrandson with 1 more on the way.
Life is good, it could be better, but I am busy, my health is OK although I would like better hearing and eyesight. My days are filled and I am productive. I especially like this blog where I can share my thoughts, and sometimes advice, with my readers. I appreciate seeing the number of readers who look at what I have placed on the pages for them. I would like to hear from them to get a better idea of who they are, but so far no comments. Please let me know if you like, or not liked what I have written for you. It would mean a lot to me.
